SmithCo's SX1 series are shorter single axle side-dump trailers primarily used when maneuverability is an issue or as a 2nd or rear trailer in a doubles operation. Many lengths are available with the SX1-2317 and the SX1-2620 being the most common. When used in a doubles operation the converter dolly can be attached with either a 5th wheel or roller turntable connection.
